Customized AI recommendations announced, expected to significantly boost youth satisfaction and accessibility
The government has drastically overhauled the Government24 integrated guidance service, allowing young people to check and immediately apply for youth-customized support policies that were previously scattered across various ministries and public institutions. The initiative aims to reduce information-searching costs and eliminate blind spots in support, maximizing the practical impact of policies that youth can feel in their daily lives.
According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, youth policy information—which previously required visiting individual websites such as the Office for Ministry Coordination, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Financial Services Commission—has been completely reorganized into a dedicated menu within Government24's 'Life & Family Guide'. Notably, young interns participated directly in discovering and developing an intuitive search system and application guide tailored to their peers' perspectives.
Through this overhaul, housing support such as the 'Youth Housing Dream Subscription Account' and 'Happy Housing', financial support including the 'Youth Future Savings' and low-interest micro-loans, and employment support such as the 'Youth Growth Project' and intern-type 'Work Experience Support Projects' are now provided all at once. Complex income and asset qualification requirements, as well as application deadlines for each institution, can now be compared in an integrated calendar format, drastically reducing missed applications.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety plans to further upgrade its user profile-based AI customized policy matching system in the future to proactively recommend optimal policies tailored to each young person's situation. Experts suggest that to establish this as an effective one-stop administrative platform that goes beyond simple information listing and actually translates to higher benefit receipt rates, it should be followed by expanded integration with unique local government projects.
